We are currently looking for the following staff to be based out of our Redhill office:-

Vacancy for a Hydraulic Systems Project Engineer.

South Eastern Hydraulics (SEH), a leading supplier of industrial hydraulic products, systems, and services to a range of industries, including steel, aerospace, automotive and marine, requires a Hydraulic Systems Project Engineer.

As Project Engineer you will be involved in all aspects of our broad range of bespoke hydraulic systems work. This will include developing a customer’s idea into a specification that matches their budget and performance expectations and on receipt of an order designing, supervising the build, testing and commissioning the system. You will be working with a small dedicated and experienced team of engineers with an enviable reputation for providing reliable systems for specialist applications. You will be based at our factory in Redhill and you may be required to visit and work at client’s premises from time to time as required.

Ideally you should be highly motivated to develop the skills of a Project Engineer, have a good understanding of engineering drawings and diagrams, be able to prepare schematic diagrams and sketches and have good practical skills.

You will need to be methodical and accurate with the energy and commitment to complete projects within defined timescales. Strong communication and problem solving skills, coupled with an ability to work under pressure are necessary attributes.

Candidates should ideally have experience in a practical mechanical and hydraulic systems environment, be proficient in Solidworks and be qualified to a minimum level of HNC/HND in a relevant engineering discipline.

The full time role attracts a competitive salary that will be dependent on qualifications and experience. Training will be offered as appropriate.
